Editorial & Reporting Standards
TVOTT Hillbilly News is an independent digital media platform committed to transparency, accountability, and community-driven reporting. We publish original journalism, interviews, commentary, and community submissions on matters of public interest.
Our Reporting Approach
- We publish original content, including news reports, interviews, investigations, and commentary.
- We clearly distinguish between factual reporting, opinion, commentary, and satire.
- We rely on public records, firsthand interviews, documented evidence, and community-submitted tips when available.
Allegations & Claims
When reporting on scams, fraud, misconduct, or other wrongdoing, we use careful language such as “alleged,” “reported,” “according to documents,” or “based on viewer reports” unless there is an official determination by a court, law enforcement agency, or other authoritative body.
Right of Reply
When reasonably possible, individuals or organizations who are the subject of allegations may be offered an opportunity to respond. A refusal or lack of response may be noted in our coverage.
Corrections
We correct factual errors when verified documentation is provided. Correction requests may be submitted via our Corrections Policy.
Editorial Independence
TVOTT Hillbilly News maintains full editorial independence. Editorial decisions are not influenced by political parties, government agencies, advertisers, sponsors, or outside organizations.
Community Standards
We moderate comments and user submissions to prevent threats, harassment, impersonation, doxxing, and unlawful behavior while protecting lawful expression and public debate.
